This list will feature the most popular and best selling strategy games that were released for the PlayStation 3. While many of these games were console exclusive, we're allowing non-exclusives to be a part of the list as well.

In Plants vs Zombies, the levels are made of paths along which the zombies are coming. The player's task is to secure each of those paths.

Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution was created specifically for consoles, though the game belongs to one of the most popular strategy game franchises aimed at PC players. The series made its debut in early 1990s, as initiated by a company known as MicroProse; the Civilization series have been developed by Sid Meier's Firaxis Games nowadays.

Port Royale 3: Pirates & Merchants is the third installment of the popular economic strategy series from Kalypso Media. The game takes place in the 17th-century Caribbean where Spain, England, Netherlands, and France fight for influence. Bladestorm: Hundred Years' War is a strategy game created by the fathers of the series Dynasty Warriors, Kessen and Samurai Warriors. However, unlike these popular brands, developers have placed the action of their new work not in Asian reality, but in medieval Europe.

An unusual Tower Defense strategy game developed by ACE Team. The game was designed for two players. Each of them is being given a castle. One player must protect the gates of his castle from the opponent. The fortresses are connected by a long and winding road through which a giant, rocky ball is rolling.

Hitman GO is exactly what you'd imagine a board game based on Hitman would be like. You painstakingly make your way around a board avoiding enemies and traps to reach your assassination target at the end.
